The organizational objectives and strategies of the 2011-2013 Goodwill Industries of South Central California Strategic Plan are articulated as follows:

  • Provide programs to maximize community placements.
  • Provide a broad array of services appropriate to the local market.
  • Enhance on-going learning and development of employees and volunteers/interns.

  • Ensure human capacity to support overall needs of the organization.

  • Expand into new markets in Kings and Southern Tulare Counties.
  • Grow to the existing market opportunity in the territory.
  • Significantly grow community awareness of GISCC.
  • Diversity revenue sources.
  • Ensure infrastructure capacity to support organizational growth.

  • Optimize donated goods processing system.
  • Integrate Kaizen quality improvement methodologies system-wide.
  • Enhance Workforce Development Department outcomes.
  • Imrpove organizatinal financial health.
